We never expected to participate so favorably in the Polyvore.com fashion contests.* Sadly, the Polyvore site has been consumed by a distribution seller and is no longer a designer’s social platform so we’re no longer able to access any of our account details.
However, we’re still happy to have participated and won the hearts of over 3800 followers, been awarded 8 trophies, won places in dozens upon dozens of contests, gained more than 140,000 design views, and established 24,000 fashion “likes” during the 8 months we participated.
These are our award-winning designs on that platform along with their competition history.

*** About our competition participation …
A while back there was a designers social platform for sharing your styles and creating design sets with them. Over 100,000 designers participated and created some of the most awesome outfit combinations and artistic fashion plates I’d ever seen. The site itself was a treasure chest and wealth of royalty free graphic resources and elements that continued to grow as other designers uploaded graphics for use among the community. It was not only inspiring but the most amazing palette of fashions, tools, and graphics right at my finger tips. And that made for some of the most exciting creative sessions I’ve had in my life just having so many resources to feed my creative juices. Once I’d get started creating these little collages, it was hard to tear away for the rest of the day.
Much to all our demise, “Polyvore” was consumed by a distribution seller and everything was removed and replaced with big brand label shopping. The Polyvore site was no more. No more community, no more design resources, no more contests, no more fashion art. There are still swollen tears among us who loved being part of that designer’s community and being able to make some of the most inspired compositions we’d ever been able to create with our fashion, art, and designs.
During the 8 months I was part of that community, I participated in hundreds of competitions and won places in over 160 of them!
